Emerging artist Osheen Harruthoonyan takes youth on an exciting journey of creative play and exploration by introducing students to avant-garde techniques such as negative manipulation and deconstruction, split toning, and chemical manipulation. This workshop is suitable for students already familiar with traditional photographic processes who want to push the boundaries of photographic image making. This course MUST take place at Gallery 44.

Instructor Fee: $75 + GST
Materials fee: approximately $9 per student.
Maximum Class size: 10 students at Gallery 44. Please contact Education Coordinator to discuss larger group possibilities.
The school/students will need to supply:
* A minimum of two rolls of well exposed
black and white negatives of varying subject matter for each participating
student
Instructor Bio:
Born in Persia and raised in Athens, Greece and Vancouver B.C., Osheen Harruthoonyan is a Toronto based Photographer and Filmmaker. Drawing upon his rich experiences from living in Tehran, Athens and Vancouver, he addresses subjects of memory and the deconstructive process of time. Osheen has served as cinematographer on numerous short films, music videos, and experimental film.
